Joanna Wieczorek has an extensive background in the multisector international compliance and regulatory projects and a proven track record of successful collaborations. She is a European compliance and regulatory expert, with 19 years of experience in the multi-sector industry (aviation, energy, fuel): project management, compliance management, PR, public affairs, regulatory association collaboration.
For the past years, since 2005, she has been wearing few heads as an entrepreneur running her own consulting firms focused on: compliance, regulations, air law, project management. Her major client was “Polish Airports” PPL (the owner of most airports in Poland). She was a part of the Strategy Team and was responsible for the market monitoring in terms of regulations and compliance, policies, coordinating reports for ex. ESG policy, contacts with associations and regulators like IATA, ICAO, EASA, ACI / Airport Councils International. One of her success stories was supporting the Ministry of Infrastructure in organizing the High-Level Conference with European Commission and Violetta Bulc – former EU Transport Commissioner in Warsaw focused on the U-Space and aviation regulations and policies. Her experience includes a 6-month-long awareness campaign devoted to the airspace digitalization, conducted in partnership with LOT Polish Airlines and Chopin Airport. This initiative was supported by the Minister of Digitalization and Polish Civil Aviation Authority.
She has been working with: aviation fuel companies (Lotos Air Bp, Orlen Aviation Fuels, Warter Aviation), energy companies, airports, airlines, aircraft producers, ground handling companies, important industry associations and regulators. She has been working on fuel contracts and aircraft lease agreements for PLL LOT- Polish Airlines, Small Planet, Enter air and American Lessor Pegasus Aviation. She has been preparing reports on aviation fuel, aviation noise and general aviation. She has been leading and conducting BIG DATA projects for airlines (PPL LOT, EnterAir) and French Thales . She was involved in aviation IP projects for Pratt and Whitney. She was consulting Polish Armamant Group concerning their unmanned system.
Since 2019, she has served as the strategic advisor and managing director for Drone Alliance Europe, the most influential drone association in Europe. In this capacity, she connected Europe with the United States, providing insights on new drone laws issued by EASA – the biggest European Regulatory Authority in Aviation, and facilitate meetings with European civil aviation authorities and air navigation service providers for DAE members like Amazon or Wing (Google company). She coordinateed it for Washington based Dentons Global Advisors Office and Brussels Office.
She is also the organizer of the annual Aviation Business Conference during #Cumulusy – the biggest award event for air sport promotion in Poland, alongside with Krzysztof Sondej.
