Full Professor at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, Warsaw, Poland.
She is the chair of the International Business Department, as well as the Director of the Post-graduate Program “Manager of International Business”, Post-graduate Program on Brand Management, and Post-graduate Program on Luxury Goods and Brand Management. She has served as a juror/board member of Superbrands Poland. Her research interests include firm internationalisation, including digital internationalisation (Internet-based and Internet-enabled internationalisation), brand management, international branding. She is the author, co-author or editor/co-editor of numerous monographs (e.g., „Country-of-origin effect in international business – consumers and strategic perspectives”, “Internet and foreign expansion of firms”, „Disruptive platforms. Markets, ecosystems, and monopolists”), as well as many research articles, focused inter alia on the digital platforms from both the strategic and consumer perspectives. She also was an editor or published inter alia in Central European Management Journal, Journal of Product and Brand Management, European Journal of Innovation Management, Journal of Fashion Marketing and Management, Entrepreneurial Business and Economics Review, International Journal of Management and Economics, Sustainability, E&M Ekonomie a Management. Articles she co-authored received best paper awards inter alia at the EIBA 2021 Conference in Madrid in “International Marketing” track and at the International Marketing Trends 2022 Conference in Rome in “Branding” track.
She was involved in developing and managing multiple projects financed by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education and National Science Centre funds. Among her other achievements and distinctions, Marzanna K. Witek-Hajduk received awards by the Polish Ministry of Science and Higher Education for her didactic activity, and by the Polish Scientific Society in Organization and Management Studies for the best habilitation monograph.
