
Director of the Military Institute of Armament Technology
Col. Dr. Eng. Paweł Sweklej, A professional soldier with many years of service, possessing qualifications and experience in managing large organizations in public administration (Ministry of National Defense) and scientific units (research institutes).
Since June 1, 2022, by decision of the Minister of National Defense, he has served as Director of the Military Institute of Armament Technology. Previously, from 2020 to 2022, he was Director of the Military Institute of Armor and Automotive Technology.
In April 2018, he was appointed Director of the Military Center for Standardization, Quality, and Codification, where he previously served as Branch Head since 2017.
During his military service, he held a number of command and specialist positions, from platoon commander, through head of the Armament and Electronics Service, to specialist and senior specialist at the Land Forces Command and the General Command of the Armed Forces.
He graduated from the Faculty of Armaments and Aviation at the Military University of Technology in 1999. In 2019, he completed postgraduate MBA studies at the Jagiellonian College, and in 2020, he earned a PhD in Engineering and Technical Sciences from the Scientific Council of the Air Force Institute of Technology.
He is qualified in conducting independent scientific research and organizing the work of teams conducting scientific research and development. He has led or participated in various projects on numerous occasions, organizing scientific and business cooperation with foreign entities. He is the author or co-author of 20 scientific publications in the field of safety sciences and engineering and technical sciences, including 1 scientific monograph, 3 edited scientific monographs, 3 chapters in scientific monographs, and scientific articles.
