Policy Officer at the Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs of the European Commission
He is responsible for research policy in areas of fighting crime and terrorism, as well as the coordination of critical infrastructure resilience.
He served for a number of years at the Polish National Police and later as Director of the Public Security Department at the Ministry of the Interior. He also acted as the Minister’s Representative to the Steering Committee of the National Centre for Research and Development.
He has been involved in the EU Framework Programmes since FP6 until Horizon Europe, including the role of the national delegate to specific configurations of the FP7 and H2020 Programme Committee. Prior to joining the European Commission, he was the Deputy Director of the National Contact Point for Research Programmes of the European Union.
